We are very aware that this is a very hard time for everyone and it's at times like these when you might need that just that little bit extra support. So we have put our heads together and compiled a list of services that we feel may help you in this time. We totally understand that transitioning the children back into school after months of being at home may be quite hard for some families.

We recommend taking the time out to chat with your children to see how they feel about the change, here are some conversation starters which could help to get the conversation going...

Wellbeing Activities

In school part of the normal school day is wellbeing time. This is because if a person is struggling with their wellbeing it is likely that they will find if very difficult to learn and enjoy life. So you can imagine our children's wellbeing is very important to us. If you would like to do some wellbeing activities at home with your children why not check out our Wellbeing Page.

Good Home Learning Practices

Routines can be really helpful to give everyone a sense of structure and consistency in these uncertain times.

That said please don't put too much pressure on yourselves to stick rigidly to it - you can be flexible.

You know your children and your family the best and whatever works best will look different for everyone.

Routines with lots of variety including creative time, active time and of course time for a cup of tea/squash etc. often work the best.

Life got you down... Laughter is important, it actually has been found to reduce stress, boost the immune system and causes your body to release 'happy hormones'. All in all we think it's a very good idea!
