Cobden Primary School's SENDCo(Special educational needs and disabilities co-ordinator) is Mrs Alison Simpson. Should you have any concerns with regard to your child's educational progress or development, the first point of contact is to discuss this with your child's classteacher.  However, should you have any further queries and would like to meet with Mrs Simpson,  please contact the school office. 

Cobden's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities policy and SEND information report are updated yearly and contains lots of useful information for parents and carers. They explain how special educational needs and disabilities are identified, the types of support that can be put in place to meet children's needs and the process of reviewing progress.  There are also useful links to websites which give further information with regard to support and services provided by the local authority.
